Installation in Mandrake Linux 7.0

Before installing conf-isdn-account the packages isdn4k-utils, dialog and ipchains should be installed first. Install them as follows :

Put the Mandrake Linux 7.0 installation CD in your CD drive

Install the forementioned packages:

rpm -i -vv /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS/isdn4k-utils-3.1b1-4mdk.i586.rpm
rpm -i -vv --force /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS/dialog-0.6-6mdk.i586.rpm
rpm -i -vv /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS/ipchains-1.3.9-5mdk.i586.rpm

Now you have to uninstall the package isdn4net :

rpm -e -vv isdn4net-1.4.1-3mdk

And finally you can install conf-isdn-account :

rpm -i -vv --force conf-isdn-account-1.6-1mdk.i586.rpm

Note: The option '--force' tells rpm that this package is allowed to replace two files which are already present on your system.

Now you can start the tool in the shell with the command conf-isdn-account.
